Sister Cities Association of Kenosha dba Kenosha Sister Cities is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that connects the people of Kenosha to people of the world, promoting peace through mutual respect, understanding and cooperation - one person, one community at a time. Our organization is dedicated to fostering cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and friendship between Kenosha and its sister cities. We work to strengthen the bonds between our communities through educational and cultural exchanges, civic engagement, and community building. Our mission is to make the world a more peaceful and connected place, one relationship at a time.
Sister Cities
Projects
Kenosha Sister Cities has embarked on an exciting new collaboration. We to create a mural celebrating our relationship with our Sister City in Cosenza, Italy. We will be working with an Italian Mural artist named Carlo Giardina to create two designs, one to be placed in Kenosha and one to be placed in Cosenza.
Mural will be installed on the north end of the west wall of the Italian-American Club over looking the bocce ball court, and will incorporate the staircase and door into the design. We need your help to provide the funding to bring the mural artist here to work with the class and to help pay for the installation of the mural by a professional, insured painter to make sure the mural can be enjoyed by our community for years to come.
